JDCA 2024 Year in Review
JDCA has a lot to be proud of in 2024. We succeeded in ensuring Jewish voters continued to turn out overwhelmingly in support of Democrats. We helped to ensure that 76% of our endorsed candidates won, electing leaders who share our values and whose roles in Congress will be crucial in the coming years.
While we faced a devastating setback in the presidential election, we accomplished much of what we aimed to do this year – we engaged a record number of voters to elect Democrats who share our values. We substantially grew our community and movement while advocating for our policy agenda, including defending democracy and our rights, combating antisemitism, and standing with Israel.
Today, JDCA is releasing our 2024 Year in Review, and as a valued member of JDCA, we want you to be among the first to see it. Read JDCA’s end-of-year report here, and donate to fuel our critically important efforts in 2025.
READ: JDCA’S 2024 YEAR IN REVIEW
JDCA and JDCA PAC had a record-breaking year. We made more than 2.8 million direct voter contacts, knocked on nearly 53,000 doors, and received 54 million views on our ads. We built a strong and vibrant community of Jewish Dems across the country, joined by more than 65,000 of you for in-person and virtual events. JDCA is larger and stronger than ever before, and we’re ready for the fight ahead.
JDCA maintained overwhelming Jewish support for Democrats despite significant Republican spending and disinformation campaigns targeting Jewish voters. We’re proud of the fact that more than 7 out of 10 Jewish voters supported Kamala Harris and Democrats in this election – which is consistent with the historical average of Jewish support for Dems in the past three decades – and that Republicans failed to make meaningful inroads with Jewish voters in 2024.
JDCA helped secure victory for 76% of our endorsed candidates, including protecting or flipping 14 key House seats and electing four crucial voices for Jewish values to the Senate. We expanded our outreach efforts to 21 states and fueled our largest-ever Campus Fellows program.
We grew the depth and breadth of our efforts, cementing our role as the political home and voice for Jewish voters in support of Democrats who share our values. Read more about JDCA’s successes in 2024, and donate to fuel our work in 2025.
As we head into a second Trump term, JDCA will continue to provide community and opportunities for Jewish voters to mobilize, take action, and advocate.
Donald Trump is a threat to our community, our security, our democracy, and our values, and we will not be silenced by someone who pledges to be a “dictator on day one.” We’ll fight Trump’s attempts to roll back our rights, erode our democracy, and threaten our national security. We’ll lay the groundwork for success in the 2025 Virginia and New Jersey gubernatorial elections and the 2026 midterms. As the political home and voice of Jewish voters, we’ll continue to fight for our democracy, our rights, and our values.
We’re proud of the community we’ve built, we’re proud of what we accomplished this year, and we’re more determined than ever to continue the fight to defend our values.
Thank you for being a part of this movement and community, and thank you for your partnership and support.
Sincerely,
Hon. Ron Klein
